    How to use it

Flip once or inspect a short batch

    1. Choose a single flip for a two-way prompt or set a bounded batch size for an experiment.
    2. Flip, then read the chronological Heads and Tails sequence as text as well as the illustrated two-sided coin.
    3. Use the counts, percentages and streaks as descriptions of that batch, not predictions of the next flip.

    Worked example

    What a result means

A batch of 10 might contain 6 Heads and 4 Tails, shown as 60% and 40%. That difference is ordinary short-run variation and does not make Tails more likely next.

    Assumptions

    Check the eligible input

The model is an equal two-outcome coin. It does not simulate the physical bias, edge landings or surface effects of a real coin.

    Selection method

    How this tool chooses

Every flip maps a fresh bounded browser cryptographic draw to Heads or Tails. Batch statistics are calculated from the displayed sequence after all outcomes exist.

Inputs and optional saved data remain in this browser until you remove them.

    Practical uses

    When it can help

    • Settle who takes the first turn
    • Demonstrate a small probability experiment
    • Generate a Heads/Tails sequence

    Limitations

Use it for the right job

Short batches often look uneven by chance. Results are for everyday and educational use, not wagering.

ChoiceDrop does not claim “true random” results, certification or independent auditing.

    Frequently asked questions

    Good to know

    Is a flip exactly predictable?

No. Each outcome is selected from fresh browser cryptographic random values.

    What is a streak?

A streak is a consecutive run of the same outcome. The tool shows the current and longest run.

    Is history uploaded?

No. The displayed history remains in this page and can be cleared at any time.
